Description
The wildflower honey from Apicoltura Avìe by Simone Coppola is produced through traditional beekeeping, which involves the use of hives located in rural and natural areas. This production method allows bees to collect nectar naturally, without the use of chemicals or pesticides, from a wide variety of different flowers. Subsequently, we extract the honey from the hives and package it for sale in our laboratory in La Morra, in the Langhe area. During the manufacturing process, sustainable practices are adopted to ensure the quality of the final product.
Characteristics
Millefiori honey is raw, unpasteurized honey. It has an amber yellow color, delicate, slightly floral and fruity aroma. This type of honey is produced by bees collecting nectar from a variety of different flowers, thus creating a complex taste and aroma. One of the main characteristics of wildflower honey is its variety of colors, which can vary from golden to dark brown. This diversity of colors is due to the presence of different types of flowers in the area where it is produced.
Benefits
In addition to its unique flavor, wildflower honey also offers numerous health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants, essential vitamins and minerals, which can help strengthen the immune system and improve digestion. Additionally, wildflower honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help fight infection and reduce inflammation in the body.
Pairings
Wildflower honey is well suited to being used as a natural sweetener in hot drinks such as tea and coffee, but it can also be spread on toast or used as an ingredient in sweet and savory recipes.
